Services · Garuda AI
Forest surveillance that does not wait for a patrol to look up.
Garuda is a secure, deployable AI system that works with GSM or CCTV cameras. It watches the forest continuously and tells field staff when an animal, a person, or a conflict needs a response.
Overview
Enhancing forest surveillance through AI
Garuda is built for proactive wildlife and forest management. Artificial intelligence, long-range cameras (including thermal) and GSM camera traps sit on the boundary between forest and settlement, and on interior tracks that are hard to staff.
The system runs day and night: colour by day, black-and-white infrared at night. When something is classified, the image leaves the camera over GSM and lands with the people who can still do something about it.
Request a deployment
Park or headquarters
Deploy at a park-level site or at headquarters. The same AI stack runs where the cameras are, or where the control room is.
Data stays with you
Transmission is encrypted. Storage remains on the client network, not a third-party cloud.
Trained to the reserve
The model can be trained to recognise new species on request, alongside tigers, leopards, elephants and people.
Operation
Two steps, then the field moves
- 01
Identify
Advanced AI classifies wildlife and people in the frame: elephants, tigers, leopards, and humans, including suspected poachers.
- 02
Alert
On detection, Garuda sends the image in real time over GSM to a Telegram channel or the system dashboard.
Reducing conflicts
Less crop damage. Fewer encounters.
A core objective is to cut crop damage and human–wildlife conflict, especially incidents involving elephants and tigers. Garuda reads camera data as it arrives so rangers are not reconstructing an event after the fact.
- Detect and alert rangers when animals move near settlements.
- Identify people entering or crossing restricted zones.
- Give field teams time to intervene before crop loss or injury.
Real-time awareness shortens the gap between a sighting and a decision that protects both the animal and the people living on the edge of the forest.
Faster response
Alerts that reach the beat, not a queue
The framework sends data and generates alerts over GSM as soon as an event is classified. Officers get the picture and the place while they can still change the outcome.
- Immediate notifications to field officers when a conflict or anomaly is classified.
- Automated event labels, so staff are not watching every feed by hand.
- Long-range and clustered cameras covering remote and dense forest.
Coverage holds in remote and dense forest, which is where a control room watching one screen cannot keep up.

In the field
Where Garuda is used
Animal conflict
Watch animals in conflict situations and warn settlements before an encounter.
Illegal entry
Live monitoring of forest entry points for intrusion after hours or off-track.
Cattle protection
Live cattle-kill monitoring so carcasses are not poisoned in retaliation.
Forest surveillance
Regular patrol coverage where a person cannot sit on a camera all night.
In-house deployment
The footage never leaves your network
Wildlife movement patterns, human activity and surveillance footage are sensitive. They have to stay confidential. Garuda is deployed in-house so that control of the data stays with the forest department or park, not with a vendor cloud.
- End-to-end encryption, with footage stored on the organisation’s own network.
- Access controls that can be set for different forest and security roles.
- Fits environmental data-protection policy and government handling rules.
- No dependency on a third-party cloud, which cuts exposure to outside systems.
